In cooperation with the VESTAS engineers, the project and development engineers of Goldhofer AG have rapidly developed a global transport concept that 100% fulfils the transport specifications of all components of the new Vestas V112 in accordance with the VESTAS specifications.
The V112 is the new generation of 3MW wind power stations for onshore sites. These plants, with a hub height of up to 119m and component weights of up to 70t, require extraordinary transport concepts, which have been officially approved and released by Vestas, in order avoid damaging any of the plant components.
This involves Goldhofer dividing the wind power station into five different transportation units (concepts).
