Change at the top at Goldhofer Matthias Ruppel appointed new CEO

Matthias Ruppel (43) has been appointed as the new CEO, having been made a member of the Board at Goldhofer AG in October 2020. As Chief Operating Officer (COO), the graduate mechanical engineer was previously in charge of Engineering, which has been expanded to include Purchasing, with responsibility for development and production for the globally active specialist in heavy-duty and special transport solutions.

As a mechanical engineering graduate with an additional qualification as an international welding engineer, Matthias Ruppel is familiar with all aspects of the operations of an internationally successful vehicle manufacturer like Goldhofer. After holding various responsible positions in production for international markets in the fields of mechanical and plant engineering, he spent 13 years as Managing Director at Putzmeister Holding GmbH, Aichtal - a global leader in the construction industry, and mining and tunnel construction.
