The heavy-duty module enables a variable track width under load, allowing it to adapt flexibly to changing transport requirements. Combined with an exceptionally high bending moment, an axle load of 48.4 t PST/ES-E and a tractive force of 162 kN, the PST/SL-ES (285) opens up new possibilities for transport concepts that previously could only be realized with significantly wider vehicle combinations.
